The Full Story

"The Calm before the Storm"

On October 6, 2017, President Trump held a White House reception for military leaders and their spouses and invited the press for a photo shoot.

Trump had already visited 10 countries in the first seven months of his presidency when he asked the press,

"Do you guys know what this represents? Maybe it's the 'calm before the storm.'" The press asked, three times, "What storm, Mr. President?" Trump responded, "You'll find out."

After this statement, Trump continued a worldwide tour visiting 29 countries and summits in 27 months. Full list here.

"We have it all!"

During Trump's campaign and presidency, he repeatedly stated to the press,

"We have it all" and "I caught the swamp, I caught them all!"

After the 2017-2019 Saudi Arabia Anti-Corruption Purge, Prince bin Salman said,

"We show them all the files that we have, and as soon as they see those, about 95 percent agree to a settlement...".

President Trump summoned reporters to the White House on October 6, 2017 and then delivered the cryptic comment, "Do you guys know what this represents? Maybe it's the 'calm before the storm.'"
